Skylane

BIOGRAPHY

In early 2016, Daniel Lautersztain and Parker Jakes moved to San Francisco where they aimed to rebuild and rebrand their sound from their old moniker, Zulu Company. With roots in electro house and ears firmly fixed on the progressive, forward-thinking trance scene, Skylane was born. With a debut stomper collaboration with Adrian Alexander, “Stratosphere,” landing with enthusiastic support by Above and Beyond, Aruna, and Shane 54, it was clear that Skylane was ready to leave an impression with their epic brand of high-energy trance and progressive sounds. Having set up their new studio in San Francisco, Daniel and Parker have gravitated toward the eclectic tastes and trends of local and underground artists, which has brought an exciting and adventurous new attitude to their productions. As 2016 comes to a close and 2017 approaches, the duo looks to introduce their sound to the West Coast, from their humble roots at the infamous SF Lingerave to a MainStage near you, Skylane shows no signs they are willing to slow down.
With their debut single, “Stratosphere” hitting the Beatport Trance Top 100 at a comfy #18, a full plate of remixes lined up for ESR artists, an original 2 track EP on the way and another single, “Blueshift” on Adrenalin Room Records getting Group Therapy radio play, the future looks bright for Skylane.
